Candle Making Workshop - Saturday 21st June 1-3 pm
The founder of On a Wick & a Prayer and all-round candle expert Annie, first began making candles over 25 years ago from her kitchen table. In our hugely popular candlemaking workshops she will share her wealth of knowledge and experience with you as you learn how to make a set of your very own candles.
In this extra special candle workshop we're focussing on garden candles! Perfect for those summer BBQs, garden parties and evenings on the patio. We'll be makings everything you need to keep those pesky bugs at bay in the form of a large multi-wick candle, along with some beautiful candle tins (great for the patio table) and even a selection of mini wax melts. We'll also be giving you a set of EVERYTHING you need to re-make 2 more candles once you've finished with what you make in the workshop!
The workshop includes lots of choice of our beautiful, unique fragrances along with colours for your wax.
You'll get to make:
• An extra large triple-wick candle with either citronella oil or a fragrance of your choice
• Two tin candles in a fragrance of your choice with the option to create a fun colour effect on top
• Some mini wax melts
• You'll also get a bottle of eazicandle wax to take home along with two wicks, a bottle of fragrance AND a bottle of colour so that you can re-create your tin candles once they're all used up.
Price includes all materials, not to mention the essential biscuits (and cuppa's) too!
All workshops take place in the upstairs studio of Tissington Craft Corner, based in The Joiners Shop, Tissington, Derbyshire, DE6 1RA. Please be aware, due to our location upstairs in an old building, access is only by 5 stone steps. Free parking is 200yds away opposite Tissington Hall.
