Calligraphy Workshop - Saturday 24th May 10:00-12:30
Unlock your creativity, learn something new and enjoy the relaxing art of modern calligraphy, using pointed pen and ink. You'll get to explore the essential techniques, strokes and letterforms, all with plenty of personalised guidance from Helen of Happy Lettering By H.
This workshop is perfect for beginners but if you have some experience we will also look at simple flourishes to elevate your lettering. By the end of the workshop you will have created your own beautiful calligraphy piece to take home.
All workshops take place in the upstairs studio of Tissington Craft Corner, based in The Joiners Shop, Tissington, Derbyshire, DE6 1RA. Please be aware, due to our location upstairs in an old building, access is only by 5 stone steps. Free parking is 200yds away opposite Tissington Hall.
