Wax Melts and Hand Rolled Beeswax Candle Workshop Saturday 23rd May 10.30am -12.00
The founder of On a Wick & a Prayer and all-round candle expert Annie, first began making candles over 28 years ago from her kitchen table. In our hugely popular candlemaking workshops she will share her wealth of knowledge and experience with you as you learn how to wax melts and a pair of hand rolled beeswax candles.
Using the finest soya wax you will choose from a selection of our exclusive fragrances and various shapes and designs to hand pour (lots and lots) of wax melts. You can add colour and elements from nature, such as lavender and marigold petals or get funky with sparkling mica powder.
Then for the second half of this workshop you will choose from a selection of colours to hand roll a beautiful pair of candles and then carefully decorate them
And you'll get to take away a bottle of Eazicandle wax to continue candlemaking at home.
Price includes all materials, plus the essential biscuits (and cuppa's) too!
All workshops take place in the upstairs studio of Tissington Craft Corner, based in The Joiners Shop, Tissington, Derbyshire, DE6 1RA. Please be aware, due to our location upstairs in an old building, access is only by 5 stone steps. Free parking is 200yds away opposite Tissington Hall.
