Thank you for booking onto a workshop here at Tissington Craft Corner!
We are looking forward to meeting you in our craft workshop here in the heart of Tissington village. We want you to thoroughly enjoy your time with us. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the workshop to give yourself time to relax and to say hello to everyone. You can check the workshop time in your confirmation email or by viewing the website listing for your chosen workshop.
We will provide refreshments of tea, coffee, squash and biscuits. If you are on a full-day workshop please bring your own lunch (we have a microwave, fridge and cutlery you are welcome to use.) We have indoor and outdoor seating areas where you can drink tea or eat your lunch. We have stunning restroom facilities. Our loo is quite the talking point (wait till you see it!).
We try to run the workshops on time, but everyone works at their own speed so timings aren’t always exact.
If your workshop runs into the late afternoon or is an evening workshop please note there are no street lights in Tissington so maybe bring a torch. It’s great for star gazing though!
How to Find us
Here’s a useful map (as Sat Nav will only get you to the village.) Ignore any signs saying “On a Wick and a Prayer” and “Candle Workshop” your workshop will take place in the upstairs studio at Tissington Craft Corner which is at the other end of the village.

Please park in front of Tissington Hall, here there is a gravel strip about 200 meters away from Tissington Craft Corner. Don’t worry about the signs that say “2 hours only” this doesn’t apply to our crafters.
The Workshop studio is above the Tissington Craft Corner shop. Please go to the right hand-side, behind the shop and you will find a set of 5 stone steps in the corner. The door at the top is the entrance to the craft studio. We are sorry but the studio is not wheelchair accessible.
We want to hear from you please!
We would love to know whether you found us via Google, Instagram, Facebook or Word of Mouth and after the workshop if you could spare us some time to write a review of your experience on our Website or Google etc we would be most grateful.
