Marbling and Candle Workshop Sunday 13th September 10.30-1pm
The founder of On a Wick & a Prayer and all-round candle expert Annie, first began making candles over 25 years ago from her kitchen table. In our hugely popular candlemaking workshops she will share her wealth of knowledge and experience with you as you learn how to make a set of your very own candles.
This New Workshop combines candle making with another crafting skill- the ancient tradition of marbling. You will begin by marbling two plain white tumblers. Using a selection from 15 marbling oils you can chose colours to suit your style.
You will then choose a fragrance for your candles. We have over 20 of our exclusive fragrances to choose from and using our Eazicandle system turn your tumblers into beautiful unique candles. That can be refilled and reused time and time again.
And you'll get to take away a bottle of Eazicandle wax to continue candlemaking at home.
Price includes all materials, plus the essential biscuits (and cuppa's) too!
All workshops take place in the upstairs studio of Tissington Craft Corner, based in The Joiners Shop, Tissington, Derbyshire, DE6 1RA. Please be aware, due to our location upstairs in an old building, access is only by 5 stone steps. Free parking is 200yds away opposite Tissington Hall.
