Gift Candle Workshop
The founder of On a Wick & a Prayer and all-round candle expert Annie, first began making candles over 25 years ago from her kitchen table. In our hugely popular candlemaking workshops she will share her wealth of knowledge and experience with you as you learn how to make a set of your very own candles.
This workshop is dedicated to creating a selection of gift candles to give out this Christmas, perfect for friends and family, teachers, Secret Santa, etc. We've got lots of choice of our beautiful, unique fragrances along with colours for your wax. Our sumptuous Christmas fragrances will also be available to choose from for your candles along with some fun festive shapes for your wax pouring:
What to expect:
• You'll make set of 6 glass jar candles (9cl each) in a colour and fragrance of your choice.
• A pair of rolled and decorated beeswax candles, great for the Christmas table
• You'll be given a set of organza gift bags
And you'll get to take away a bottle of Eazicandle to continue candlemaking at home.
Not to mention there will be the essential biscuits (and a cuppa') too!
All workshops take place in the upstairs studio of Tissington Craft Corner, based in The Joiners Shop, Tissington, Derbyshire, DE6 1RA. Please be aware, due to our location upstairs in an old building, access is only by 5 stone steps. Free parking is 200yds away opposite Tissington Hall.
